In the forests of Indonesia, majestic trees have been preserved beneath layers of volcanic sediment over hundreds of year. The organic process of permineralization transform them from wood to rock, leaving behind fossils ringed in gorgeous earthen hues. The sheer weight and density of the stone can be bit surprising. This table is available in smooth polish. We enlist artisans to hand process this fossil to create this functioning and decorative table. Size, color, & shape vary per table.
